American Art
Journal Entry: Sun Mar 9, 2008, 6:20 PM
In my literacy class, we're studying the Harlem Renaissance. One of the things we needed to do was recreate a piece of art. I chose Jacob Lawrence's "Man on a Scaffold" I'm almost done with the outlines, but the style is kinda cool, it looks like there wasn't much effort was put in, but when you are copying it, the picture has lots of details that are hard to recreate with the medium the artist used.
